Plant’s Choice Compost
Plant’s Choice Organic Soil Amendment is produced at a permitted compost facility. The material is put through pathogen reduction. It is high in organic matter, micro-nutrients & microorganisms. It is dark earthy brown in color and possesses a pH between 5.8 and 7.5. Screened through 1/2 inch screens. A smaller percentage of larger and finer materials to be expected.

Plant’s Choice operates a fully permitted composting facility in San Diego, CA. We produce compost from local clean greenwaste that is ground to our specifications and put through the pathogen reduction program (PFRP) per CalRecycle standards.

Plant’s Choice is a member of the US Composting Council as well as a participant in the Seal of Testing Assurance (STA) Program. As producers of STA Compost we are a fully permitted facility, meet local regulations, and use STA approved labs. Labs and certificate available upon request.
